3 Days Motorcycle Desert Tour from Ouarzazate Itinerary
Day 1: Ouarzazate → Zagora
We start the 3 Days Motorcycle Desert Tour from Ouarzazate by preparing the bikes and equipment at our base in Ouarzazate. Then, we ride about 75 km on the road before reaching the off-road tracks. After a short coffee break, we continue on dirt paths through hills that become more challenging as we go.
By midday, we cross a rocky mountain pass and enjoy a picnic lunch in the middle of nature. In the afternoon, the landscape changes into beautiful canyon scenery. A scenic descent brings us to the famous Draa Valley, where we ride through traditional villages made of mud.
You can either continue off-road or take the easier road option to reach our hotel in Zagora for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Zagora → Foum Zguid
We start early today for a long and exciting ride. We head south on old rally tracks where you can enjoy riding faster and improving your control on the bike.
After a short stop to refuel, we continue towards the desert and reach the amazing dunes of Erg Chigaga. We take a break here for lunch and enjoy the silence of the desert.
In the afternoon, we ride west across rocky tracks that soon become smoother. We cross the wide dry lake of Lac Iriki, a perfect place for a long, open ride.
By the end of the day, we follow a former Dakar rally route to reach Foum Zguid, where we relax in a comfortable hotel surrounded by palm trees.
Day 3: Foum Zguid → Ouarzazate
On the last day, we ride through the beautiful Anti-Atlas Mountains. After a short road section, we arrive at a stunning gorge where local Berber communities grow dates.
We continue through small villages before climbing scenic mountain tracks with amazing views. Around midday, we stop for lunch in Tazenakht.
