6 Days Morocco Moto Tour from Merzouga: Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Merzouga – Khamlia – Taous – Ouzina – Ramlia – Tafraout
Your Morocco motorcycle tour begins in Merzouga at 9:00 AM. After a short briefing, we ride into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
We pass through Khamlia village, famous for its Gnawa music and African roots. Then, we cross desert tracks through Taous, Jdaid, and Ouzina.
The ride becomes more wild as we head to Ramlia, a remote desert village. Finally, we reach Tafraout after an exciting day of riding across rocky and sandy terrain.

Day 2: Tafraout – Zgilma – Tagounite – Mhamid El Ghizlane
After breakfast, we ride across the vast desert plateau of Bouhyara near the Moroccan-Algerian border.
We stop at Zgilma Oasis, a peaceful place surrounded by palm trees, perfect for a picnic lunch.
In the afternoon, we follow part of the famous Dakar Rally route through the Draa Valley. After a coffee break in Tagounite, we continue to Mhamid El Ghizlane, the gateway to the deep Sahara.

Day 3: Mhamid – Iriki Lake – Erg Chegaga – Desert Camp

We then reach the massive dunes of Erg Chegaga, one of the largest and most remote dune systems in Morocco.
In the evening, we arrive at a desert camp where you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and sleep under the stars.

Day 4: Erg Chegaga – Sacred Oasis – Tagounite – Zagora

We cross Oued Naam and continue toward Tagounite for lunch. Then we ride to Zagora, a lively desert town.
